Tred is the marketing magazine for the Dutch and Belgian shoe industry. It is distributed among retailers and all other people who are professionally involved in the shoe business. Tred has a circulation of 4.100. Tred is published 11 times a year.
Tred's main editions are presented around the major European fairs. A wide variety of shoe collections are covered. Together with interviews with the industry's news makers, articles on marketing and communication and the well read news section Tred is an easy to read, up-to-date magazine.

It is a report that analysis the great trends within the footwear sector around the world. Statistics are presented to the previous year, both in quantity and value as well as the evolution of the main world players. The aim of this publication is to analyze the position of relevant countries of the footwear sector at a world level in terms of the different variables (Production, Exports, Imports and Consumption) and evaluate the strategic positioning of the different sector players. Additionally, this publication includes a profile of the footwear industry/market in dozens of countries.
We wanted to imbue this magazine with a more specific character, interpreting accessories as "necessary details", as that element of fashion most indicative of one's lifestyle, expressing each individual's unique approach to dressing. We discovered that accessories have transcended their supporting roles, having assumed a unique character, constituting trends of their own.
This is why this publication must be innovative in more than a visual way, going on to explore the latest trends in accessories. In its new guise, ZOOM ON FASHION DETAILS intends to serve as a very handy, visually oriented manual of trends in fashion accessories, exploring all the meanings this concept implies for the contemporary fashion industry.
ZOOM ON FASHION DETAILS is not meant to appeal only to professionals who design leather goods and shoes, but rather to address the more general needs of international buyers and retailers. The realization of this new publishing project is the fruit of the enthusiasm and the intellectual integrity and determination of the editorial staff.
